Hot and Cold Packs
Reusable Hot/Cold Packs
A reusable gel pack can be chilled by refrigeration before use in applying cold therapy to minor injuries, such as bruises and muscle sprains and strains. When frozen, the pack remains flexible to form to the contour of the body. The pack can also be heated by microwave or hot water to apply warmth to help heal damaged muscle tissue and/or increase the flexibility (and decrease painful stiffness) of soft tissues surrounding the injured area.
